2019-20 Mentoring Program Kickoff
We started the 2019-20 Mentoring Program on Tuesday, July 30 by introducing the 2019-20 Mentee/Mentor pairings kindly hosted by TRC.
Bernadette Duran-Brown, the Mentoring Program's Chair, discussed guidelines for mentoring relationships and suggested mentoring topics. Participants identified common goals that they wanted as outcomes and committed to these goals via a memorandum of understanding.
Marisa Trautz, Project Manager at TRC, inspired attendees by sharing her experience as both a mentee and a mentor throughout her career. The event ended with an ice breaker, where teams competed to construct the tallest tower made of cups.
