2021-22 Mentoring Program Graduation
The WTS Orange County Mentoring Committee held an in-person graduation ceremony on Friday, June 10, 2022, at the Mark Thomas offices in Irvine to honor our 2021-22 mentor and mentee pairs.
After a hosted breakfast and some quality networking time, Rebecca Shum of HDR/WKE (Mentoring Committee Chair), and Bo Burick of Mark Thomas (Mentoring Committee Member), presented the highlights and achievements that took place throughout the 2021-22 term.
Our keynote speaker, Juliet Su, Director of Design and Construction for TCA (current Mentoring Committee Member and former Chair), gave an excellent presentation on the influence that mentorship has played in both her professional career and personal life. Her imparted wisdom will certainly leave a mark on all event attendees!
Three of our mentor/mentee pairs then shared their experiences with the mentorship program. It’s safe to say their testimonials proved the value that this program offers to both seasoned professionals and those who are still newer to the industry.
